Blue Anchor - there is a car boot sale at Blue Anchor every Saturday during summer months at 2.30pm

Dunster - the Dunster Country Show is held in the grounds of Dunster Castle at the end of July.

Minehead - there is a seafront market every Tuesday and Thursday 9am to 4pm.

A farmers market is held on Friday at The Avenue in the centre of Minehead from 8.30am to 2.30pm, it provides a great opportunity to buy fresh local produce.

On May Day morning, a colourful hobby-horse dances through Minehead, this is the only county town who celebrate this centuries old tradition. The Annual Minehead Raft Race is run by the Minehead Lifeboat crew to raise money for the RNLI. The race is now in its 30th year and is now the biggest free show in West Somerset, and believed to be the biggest sea raft race in the country.

West Somerset Railway holds many events throughout the year. In September CAMRA holds a real ale festival at Minehead Station with live music on Saturday night and Sunday lunchtime.

Watchet - the Annual Carnival will take place as usual on the last Sunday of July, complete with parade, musical headline events, and fétes. Watchet music festival weekend will take place on August Bank Holiday.
